Designing a card with Spot UV lamination can be tricky and fairly daunting, take a look at our helpful guide below to get perfect results.
When designing your cards please bare in mind that Spot UV is not recommended for small text or thin lines. If you take a look at the image adjacent you can see we have only masked the larger text and arrow of our logo. When drawing your mask please use solid black shapes consisting of 100% K only, in the exact same place the lamination is required. Avoid using bitmap formulated images if you can, try to keep all your artwork to vectored graphics as this will provide a higher quality print finish.
